🎙️ TIPALAYO DX CONTEST 2025

Every fourth week on April
In 2025 Tipalayo DX Contest will be held on: April 26th – 27th 2025
Start: 08:00:00 UTC Saturday – Ends: 11:59:59 UTC Sunday (28 hours).
In 2026 : will be held on: 25th – 26th April 2026
Start: 08:00:00 UTC Saturday – Ends: 11:59:59 UTC Sunday (28 hours).
In 2027: will be held on 24th – 25th April 2027
Start: 08:00:00 UTC Saturday – Ends: 11:59:59 UTC Sunday (28 hours).

I. OBJECTIVE:

• For amateurs around the world can contact as many other amateurs as possible. which at the time of the event had a legitimate amateur radio license issued by each government authority
• Strengthening the relationship of communication with all amateur stations around the world (DX Station) with YB-Land Station (Indonesian Amateur Radio Station)

II. BAND :

• Three bands: 3.5 MHz, 7 MHz and 28 MHz. Compliance with the predetermined path plan is highly recommended.

III. MODE and EXCHANGE :

• SSB / PHONE RS report+ serial number (for example 59 001), starting from 001 for the first contact and so on

IV. SCORING:

• The final score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the different prefixes that are done
• QSO POIN :

1. 1. The station can be contacted once on each band
   2. Contact between stations on the same of country have 3 (three) points
   3. Contact between stations on different country with fellow continents count 5 (five) points
   4. Contact between stations on different countries and different continents count 7 (seven) points
   5. Contact with a special station 7C8C have 25 (twenty five) points

C. PREFIX MULTIPLIER:

• The prefix multiplier is a successful number of valid prefixes. Every contact with new prefix is calculated only once from each band

• Single Operator All Band Any Power (SOAB)x (Choose All Band in N1MM)
• Single Operator Single Band 80m Any Power (SO80)
• Single Operator Single Band 40m Any Power (SO40)
• Single Operator Single Band 10m Any Power (SO10)

VII. SOUVENIR GIFT

• Each winner will be given a souvenir in a form of T-Shirt of Tipalayo Dx Contest 2025

• All participants who send valid logs are entitled to get e-certificates that can be downloaded after the winner is announced from this link:

IX. LOG SHEET

1. The committee only accepts logsheet in the form of a cabrillo file
2. Logsheet can be uploaded (upload/submit) at: https://tipalayo.orlokpolman.id/log-submission/
3. The deadline for uploading the logsheet (upload/submit) is 7 (seven) days after the contest ends. Deadline: May 4 2025, 23:59 UTC.
4. If the delivery exceeds the deadline, then the logsheet will be considered a checklog

X. UDC

• Delete old UDC and please download the new UDC file at: https://tipalayo.orlokpolman.id/software/

XI. OTHER PROVISIONS

1. If there is a total condition of the same score/series among participants, the highest score is chosen based on the earliest participant submit a valid log sheet.
2. Sellf Spotting is not justified
3. Only one beam signal is allowed to work in one frequency.
4. In terms of determining the category, the committee refers to the choice of categories based on the Logsheet sent.
5. The log examination is checked using a special software and if there is duplication it will be removed without being hit by a penalty.
6. The action will be sent via email to the address given by sending logs. Participants have five days to appeal to the decision to the contest Manager. After that time, the decision is final.
7. The committee has the right to change any entry category based on a log checked or other information

XII. STATEMENT :

1. By sending the Tipalayo DX Contest 2025 log, and by considering the efforts of the DX Club Tipalayo Committee to review and evaluate the log, participants agreed unconditionally and could not be withdrawn that he was already:
2. Read and understand the rules of the contest and agree to be bound by it,
3. Operated in accordance with all regulations and provisions relating to amateur radio for the location of the station,
4. Agreed that the log entry can be opened to the public.
5. Agreed that the issuance of disqualification and other decisions from the committee was official and final.
6. Especially for the single band category, it will only be calculated if followed by a minimum of 10 contestants
